December 21, 2021 (Advanced Pedicure)

Over the summer I had my first pedicure while visiting my home state for my son-in-law’s wedding. After that experience I decided this is something I wanted to do for myself on a regular basis. I hate the dryness and cracking on the soles of my feet that worsens as the weather gets colder. I also have several calluses on the sides of my feet that are painful and annoying after a long day of walking. I was hoping that regular care by a professional might help.

I looked around and tried a couple of places here in Middletown and the one’s I tried were cold and impersonal, and I can’t say I enjoyed the experience or their workmanship. During the treatment I felt like I was on some sort of assembly line and their primary goal was to get me out of the chair and out the door. I was hardly even spoken to, and foot care wasn’t even discussed with me.

I was about to give up when I looked for a new place to try out. This is when I found Bad Kitti Claws. The name was intriguing so I booked my appointment. This is when I first met Trixie. My first appointment with her was amazing. She is fun and engaging throughout the whole experience. She knows what she is doing and took amazing care of my feet and toes.

During my first appointment we discussed the concerns about my feet and Trixie gave me advice and introduced me to products to help with my specific problems. All of which have significantly reduced the drying and cracking on the souls of my feet. I’ve had a total of 5 monthly sessions with her thus far and she has eliminated all but the last of my callouses. Even with that last stubborn one we are hoping to see it gone completely in a treatment or two. It’s December now and I can’t remember my feet feeling this soft in the winter since I was in my twenties.

I am now a loyal customer. If only more businesses nowadays strived for this level of customer service and friendliness.  I highly recommend Bad Kitti Claws. Trixie is amazing and I can assure you that you won’t be disappointed if you book a session with her.
