The B/S Brace Process

Ingrown and curved nails are gently and continuously lifted out of the nail fold while the nail plate and nail bed are straightened. The resistance of the brace adjusts to the individual curvature of the nails.

The B/S Brace is replaced every 1-3 months depending on the severity of the curvature and condition of the nail.

The B/S Brace Application Process

  • Step 1

    A full Advanced Pedicure is performed to thoroughly prepare and clean the nail for the B/S Brace application.

  • Step 2

    The B/S Brace is measured and prepared for the nail. The brace is applied across the toenail from side to side, completely spanning the width of the nail.

  • Step 3

    The B/S Brace and adhesive are filed and smoothed over the nail surface.

  • Step 4

    LCN Barefoot Toenail Restoration resin is applied over the brace to protect the brace, seal it in place, and smooth the nail surface.

  • Step 5

    The nail can be polished and treated like normal. The B/S Brace should be reapplied every 1-3 months until the nail curvature has corrected.
